Frequently Asked Questions

Is it more cost-effective to outsource my color copying or print in-house?
Most out-sourced printing is only cost-effective for large volume runs of the same original. Based on the type of print job (i.e., number of originals, paper size, color versus black/white), there will be a price-point that will be less expensive to run in-house versus out-sourcing.

Why is a maintenance agreement important?
A multifunction digital machine consists of many consumable parts (i.e., toner, drums, cleaning blades, drums, fusers, rollers).  The cost of these parts as well as the maintenance cycles for each machine varies.  To minimize down-time, the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance cycles should be adhered to.
Our maintenance agreements cover all parts and labor (including repairs and regular maintenance cycles) as well as toner for an agreement upon average number of copies.  Many customers find the cost of our standard maintenance agreement to be budget-friendly, avoiding large, unexpected expenses for maintaining or repairing the machine.
